Notion — Think together

Notion is the connected workspace where teams write, plan, and build together – bringing docs, projects, and knowledge into one place, increasingly powered by AI. But the loudest story in AI right now is a lonely one. It imagines a single person commanding an army of chatbots, with other humans reduced to friction. At a moment of real change, Notion wanted to stand for a different vision of the future. Part manifesto and part reminder to the world and to themselves, the message was simple: The best things are never built alone.
Notion came to us with a strong point of view, a script inspired by their CEO’s writing, a sense of the edit, and even one of our favorite images. What they needed was a team to help build it. We plugged into their process and brought the idea to life. We sourced and cleared historical photography, composed and recorded original score, and developed the film’s signature visual device — “missing” teammates were physically cut from printed archival photos and scanned back in, creating a felt absence where collaboration should be. We refined the edit and created motion graphics that brought Notion’s product and interface to life.
Then we scaled the campaign across eight regions, including the US, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Australia, and Singapore. We re-recorded the VO in five languages and regional English accents using talent from each market. We also sourced new historical imagery that would resonate locally. The final frames ran at a huge scale, turning tiny X-Acto cuts made on our office floor into billboards in major cities around the world.
